Paintball Clothing & Apparel

What paintball apparel you need

The basic clothing of paintball players include the shirt, jacket or hoodies, pants, gloves, a cap, the face mask, and shoes with cleats. You can opt for camouflage or non-camouflage clothing. For outdoor games, it is ideal to wear camouflage clothing so you can blend with environment.

There are practically hundreds of manufacturers of paintball apparel. Most notable brands are Empire, New Dye, Invert, Hater, BDU and Planet Eclipse.

When choosing the right paintball clothing, it is best if you can select baggy clothes. These types of clothes provide the greatest mobility for players. Layering is also important. You should wear a comfortable shirt and put on a jacket or an overall paintball suit. Depending on the weather, make sure that you layer your clothing properly so you can adapt well to outdoor temperatures.

Wearing shoes with metal cleats is not required. But you can enjoy more traction and stability if your shoes have cleats. There are special paintball shoes like the Digger’s Predator cleats although any brand will do as long as the shoes are comfortable to wear.

As much as possible, you need to avoid light colored or neon colored clothing if you do not want to become easy target. Dark clothing is preferred especially for outdoor competitions.
