J&J Ceramics™ Barrel Model 98
Ceramic, copper, stainless steel, brass, aluminum – these are the types of materials which you can choose from if you are thinking about upgrading or buying new paintball barrels. Basically, a paintball barrel is the most important part of your paintball marker or gun. As such, when playing the game, you need to carefully choose which barrel to go with so that you can increase your accuracy when shooting against the enemy as you play a round of paintball.
All about J&J Ceramic Barrels
Let’s say that you decided to choose a ceramic J&J barrel over other brands of barrels which are made from copper, stainless steel or brass. What edge will your barrel have over the equipment that other paintball players have?
Generally, the material that paintball barrels are made of would not necessarily affect their accuracy. However, it would factor in with the weight and cost of the barrel that you will buy. So if you go for a J and J ceramic barrel, for example, it will cost less but weigh a bit more as compared to another brand of a barrel made from stainless steel.
The good thing about buying J&J ceramic barrels is that there are a number of lengths that you can choose from. Also, don’t be fooled into thinking that just because these are made from ceramic, it already equates to being heavy and inaccurate. In fact, the opposite is true.
J & J ceramic barrels are manufactured using the most advanced technology. The ceramic is combined with an injection of Teflon into the ‘pores’ of the aluminum material. The result is a slick ceramic barrel by-product which is extremely durable. The advanced technology used in manufacturing J&J ceramic barrels also allow the varying types to become lightweight and ultra-accurate.
