Paintball Parts and Upgrades

It is very important to understand and identify different paintball gun parts so you can customize your gun. Paintball guns are designed to carry several upgrades and each model has its own replacement accessories or custom parts.

We feature a large selection of paintball parts from various vendors. Make sure to identify correctly the part you need. When ordering parts like hoses or o-rings, make sure to specify the length and diameter correctly.

Some paintball marker upgrades are listed in separate sections of our store, e.g see barrels and accessories.

Here are the paintball parts and gun upgrades you may want to consider

Some of the crucial paintball marker parts that you may need are bottom-line adapters, feed necks, bolts, hopper adapters, vertical adapters, mags, grips, micro drops, and spring kits.

The biggest part of the paintball gun is the body. The body of the gun houses the valve, bolt, and trigger frame. Almost all paintball guns have these standard parts. The only main difference between paintball markers is the relative positioning of the barrel and trigger.

The ammo paint rounds are housed in the hopper. The biggest challenge is to look for a hopper that will not break the paintballs during reload. Common hoppers are gravity-fed but there are also ball hoppers that are agitation-driven, force-fed, and stick-fed types.

The gun tank is another important part that houses the air source. This is responsible for propelling the paintballs at high speeds. There are two types of air sources: the CO2 and the HPA. CO2 tanks are cheaper but air power can be affected by the weather. HPA air sources are more stable and powerful but also cost more than CO2 tanks.

The type of barrel is another critical part of the gun. Long barrels are quieter but may hamper your maneuvering speed and mobility. Short barrels are best for gunners who prefer quick assault maneuvers. Accuracy and range will not be affected no matter how long your barrel is.
